  in this past five weeks, i have finished three series of calculations (including one-week learning period for perl , developed a calculation launcher programme ). each time, our working procedure starts with 1) an explanation of the following calculation from martina. 2) then i build up fem model and operate some pre-calculations to determine calculation conditions. 3) subsequently i make a midterm reporting for martina with pre-calculation results. 4) main calculation and data sorting are done reflecting the result of discussion. 5) final reporting and make a conclusion ... of course as i ask her for help sometimes, i m having discussion with her at least two times per week and my ppt slide has been added up, over 150 pages for the moment. my five weeks of this has been responsible for three types of structural calculations (within one week of learning perl, addressed the automatic analysis and program development)
