Casio Men's EFA119BK-1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch

  • $12.00 shipping , handling and sales tax included . I then asked the representative if instructions would be included because it was a different type of setup instead of pins . HE SAID THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO RECOMMEND TAKING THE BAND TO A JEWELER TO HAVE IT PUT ON ! ! PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS AS BANDS DO NOT LAST FOREVER ! !
    • 086 4  This watch is much more than I expected , has all the functions you want and it is VERY NICE . SIZE is perfectly in line with my arm and looks very elegant . THE BEST
    • 127 4  I have had a Casio watch for about a year and now the watchband needs replaced . I was informed by Walmart that they cannot replace a Casio watchband . I called Casio and they told me that as far as they know NO CASIO WATCHBAND CAN BE REPLACED BY A NORMAL WATCHBAND ! I had to order a watchband from Casio and they had to know which model it was before I ordered it . Total price : $12.00 shipping , handling and sales tax included . !

  • 023 4  It's a great value watch functionally as well as for money . Make a look of more expensive than it is . Looks sporty and still could be used when dressed up . The functions are all really cool . The thermometer works best when it's not on your wrist for obvious reasons and is comparatively accurate ( still you got option to calibrate manually if you want ) . Great function of automatic backlight with just a bend of your wrist and it will automatically shut off that function after 6 hours ( to save battery life ) . You can activate / deactivate the backlight anytime you want manually just by pressing button . It is not mentioned to adjust band in manual , however you could do that yourself just by using Leaf Spring Coupled Type . On chain it is marked an arrow sign , those unit could be unassembled . Use tweezers to open bent cover then pull out Leaf spring , then remove link as many according to your wrist size ( maximum 4 link from each side could be removed ) then place link to open slot and insert leaf back to lock the link and at last press the unbent cover to lock projection of leaf spring After following this simple step you'll feel as this band is made just for your hand ( read instruction at [ . . . ] Only drawback I found band design is not good as it pull out your wrist hairs a lot . Taken as a whole I am very much satisfied with my selection and I would recommend everyone who are looking for a good watch around ~ 53 $ . Go ahead and love it
    • 005 4  This is a beautiful , solid looking , masculine , full of features watch . I bought it from amazon itself , and for $53 it is a wonderful deal . I loved the way watch looked . It fits well on my wrist . The black ring around the face of the watch looks great . Its a very practical watch with analog and digital time display with almost accurate temperature . Watch is made of solid steel body with brushed finish steel bracelet . Although a bit difficult to adjust analog time , but can be taken care of with the help of the manual . well all in all this a best a man can buy for 50 bucks . I am totally satisfied with it . I bought this watch after looking at a lot of models and brands , and now since I have bought the watch i am glad that i made a right choice . I will advise other's with a similar budget to go for this watch and enjoy .
    • 006 4  This watch is a great value for the money and looks more expensive than it is . It's heavy , but not too heavy . Looks sporty and still could be used when dressed up . The functions are all really cool and the thermometer is a plus . The thermometer works best when it's not on your wrist for obvious reasons and is fairly accurate . One function I really like is that the backlight will turn on with just a twist of your wrist ( when activated ) and it will automatically shut off that function after a few hours . You can still activate the backlight anytime you want manually . I wish it had a compass too , then it would be perfect . Only drawback is the band pulls at / out your wrist hairs a lot , which decreases the more you wear it .
    • 015 4  I Like this watch . All the functions it has are really great . The only problem I have is to adjust its Band to my wrist , I am unable to figure it out yet . Overall it is a Good Watch both for Formal and Casual looks .
    • 028 4  I was more than happy with the time it took for the product to get here and I am happy with the purchase .
    • 031 4  I am very happy about buying it , it is a very good looking watch at a reasonable cost . It is comfortable to wear not too heavy , nor too light either . The features are cool , but it might take a few days before you get to learn to use all the gadgets . I highly recommend it .
    • 061 4  I enjoy wearing this watch . It looks way more expensive than $50 . It's hard to find a watch that shows both the date and * day * ; this one does , plus it displays the month ! The other features like the thermometer , alarm , countdown timer , stopwatch , and world times are a cherry on top . The reason I give it 4 stars is the design - as handsome as it is - takes priority over function . The function that suffers is the readability of the digital information . First , it is non-contrasting dark LCD on a dark background . Second , the hands can obscure it . But overall , it still looks cool .
    • 062 4  Its a very good product who wanted have both analog and didgital in their watch .
    • 070 4  The setup is a little troublesome because it has so many features from time to temperature . Except for that , the rest are good . It look good and time is accurate , adjusting is easy .
    • 075 4  This Casio watch is very nice for its price . Comparing with this price watch , I rate it as 5 stars .
    • 078 4  The watch is very nice looking just as advertised . The minor negatives I have are 1 ) the watch band pulls my arm hair endlessly , outch ! ! and 2 ) the hour and minute hands obscure the readouts but it's what I expected from this kind of design . I just didn't expect it to be quite as annoying as it had been . All in all it's a great looking watch with a lot of functions .
    • 081 4  Its a great watch , it is exactly what I was looking for . Its not too heavy , its water resistant , it even has a thermometer . Very accurate .
    • 082 4  The watch looks really cool and is built well . Unfortunately its design is not all that practical . The analog hands cover the digital portions so for for part of the hour you can't read the seconds , then when that comes into view , you lose the date , temperature , etc . There is a nifty digital circle that counts the seconds but it only goes halfway around the bezel so as long as you only want to see half of the minute I guess you are fine . The whole face lights up at night so if the digital time isn't blocked by the hands , it is pretty easy to read . Otherwise you look for the dark shadows which is all you can see of the hands . The tips of the hands are meant to glow , but uness you charge them in front of a flood light , don't expect to see anything . I will wear this watch until it wears out but there isn't really anything that endears me to it . Less practical than your average $10 variety .
    • 089 4  I love the watch , i play sports with it on , i do everything with this watch on i have had this watch for one month and have loved it most of my freinds have guesed that it costs $100 + . it has taken some nasty blows and is still alive the band is great and has not broken and i am as hapy as can be .
    • 097 4  I really like this watch . Only drawback is it's extra weight . Otherwise - Its excellent . . . ! ! !
    • 119 4  The Casio watch tells you the temperature besides all the other chronograph touches . It also tells you that it is Low Tide in Honolulu .

  • 030 4  This watch is a great value for the amount of features and quality build . It's ability to keep time is superb and haven't lost a second for 3 weeks now .

    • 034 4  Very convinient , elegant with all the features and more of a digital sport watch . To understand all the features u may need to read all the manual twice but it is worth it .

      • 067 4  I bought this watch based on the reviews . I just recieved it today and realized that this is a truly great looking watch . The down side and the reason why I am sending it back is because of the crappy band . The band feels and sounds cheap . In my opinion a metal watch band shouldn't squeak . This watch would have been a keeper if it weren't for the band .
        • 063 4  This wacth is really nice . It is fantastic for the needs I have . I am sorry about the thermometer because it shows a higher temperature than the real is . But , it does not matter for me . I truly recommend it ! !
        • 068 4  This watch was bought as a gift and it is really very beautiful . It has so many cool features as well . Great buy !
        • 079 4  I needed a work watch and came across this one . It's very durable and functional , ideal for what I was looking for .
        • 080 4  This watch is really great , it is fully loaded with features , the auto-illuminate , world time , the thermometer can be calibrated for accuracy , good build quality . I recommend this watch
        • 088 4  2 problems . 1st , the digital display is very dim . Almost useless . 2nd , temp meter is not accurate . Cannot trust . I returned my order to Amazon.com .

      • 073 4  This is a very good watch . The styling is very modern and yet is appropriate for both casual and work settings . It is chock full of features for its price . The world time feature is very handy if you travel . If you calibrate it , the thermometer will give you a rough idea of the temperature , probably + / - 5 degrees . My only gripe is that the watch band seems kind of cheap . Other than that , a very good watch .
        • 002 4  For the price , this is a great watch . I am not sure why , someone would say that it is not a work watch , mine survived a deployment to Iraq , with an IED . My only issue was with the amount of traveling I did , I had to set the time too much , it became a little difficult changing the analog time .
        • 016 4  I am stunned at the quality and features of this watch , especially given its low , low price . I originally thought Casio was solely a dealer of cheap but durable resin watches . I recently discovered Casio's terrific Edifice line - - what a find ! Gorgeous stainless steel and a multitude of features . It's the best money I've ever spent on clothing / jewelry . I am eminently satisfied .
        • 037 4  I love this watch . The digital analog clock setting is a little slow but nice . The only problem is that the temperature reading is influenced by body heat so its off unless ambient temp is higher , you can adjust for difference though .
        • 052 4  The watch looks good in pictures . But the face is difficult to see . There is to much going on on the face . Programming is a pain in the a - - . The bracelet is stiff and not very comfortable . Although I bought this watch as a beater , its going up for sale .
        • 093 4  Very stylish and useful . Worth every dollar . I bought one for myself , but I am going to buy another for a christmas gift . I am sure it would make an excellent gift . !
        • 094 4  I really love this watch , it displays the time and date , without the need of pressing any buttons . The digital numbers hide when you are not looking directly , which make it look more like an analog watch . This creates its only setback so far : The digital time and date might be difficult to see in darker places . But there's a built-in light to solve this issue whenever you're in the dark and wish to know what time it is .

      • 074 4  I bought this watch for casual wear to avoid damaging my more expensive watches . The watch works fine and looks OK , but I must say it has the worst band I have ever encountered . When sizing it , the individual links are very large which makes it tough to get an exact fit . As luck would have it , removing 3 links leaves the watch too loose and 4 links is a bit too tight . Another problem is the band catches on the hair on your wrist . Be prepared for a bald wrist and painful experience if you wear this watch everyday ! I think in this price range , a rubber band will probably work better .
        • 004 4  I purchased this watch two months ago now and I still couldn't be happier about it . This watch does everything you need it to do , while still looking nice and small . I definately recommend this watch to anyone looking for a casual / functional timepiece for all occations .
        • 008 4  I like the look of the watch but there are two problems . The digital display is very dim and is hard to see with out the back light . The other problem is the materials are not the best . Not a god watch for a work environment .
        • 013 4  I got this watch as a father day's present . I love it . Looks professional , elegant and got lots of compliment on it . I don't know how scratch resistant it is yet . The ban is tricky to change . All you need is a small screw driver . This is a great buy . I have 3 other watch but this one by far is my favorite .
        • 043 4  I really like this watch . I've had several Casio watches and this one is the best looking . The only thing I don't like is that is kind of hard to see the digital numbers , but you can always press the light button . I recommend this watch anyways .
        • 092 4  This watch looks great and feels well made . I find the level of night lighting to be very sufficient . The metal parts of the watch do seem to show scratches .

      • 076 4  Professional , charming , great functionality , possible to be adjusted at home ! The only little thing is that is a little heavy . Still , a great price for a great product . Really liked it !

        • 107 4  Good Watch , but the strap is so badly designed that you just cannot wear it . Inspite of not having too much of hair on my arm , this watch is a pain to wear . And you cannot change the strap to leather one . This supports only the default metal ones and they are very badly designed .
          • 065 4  A very technical watch that is excellent for engineers . Attractive , rugged , and feature loaded but not for those who don't want to read the user's manual because it is not intuitive in its operation . Design is like a high powered race car and not for the faint hearted .
          • 124 4  As with others was looking forward to receiving watch . When i opened it the main part of the watch is to small , thought it would be bigger from other reviews read . Band is so flimsy and so small . Would have brought another one if i had my chance again .

          • 003 4  Pros : - Excellent looks . Same as displayed in product image . - Great value buy - Temperature Calibration provided . - Good features like stop watch , auto light while tilting watch at 40 * , indiglo light . Cons : - Manual doesn't specify how to change size of strap . - No backward movement for analog hands . So if did mistake in adjusting will have to again come back after traversing 12 hours . - A bit bulky . - Steel strap quality is a bit cheap . Takes away some wrist hairs . - Old fashioned strap buckle .
          • 009 4  First of all Thanks Amazon for great service . The watch reached me in time as said by Amazon . I had been using the watch for a month now . The watch looks almost same as in the photo given on site as some people said that its differet from photo . The watch is smaller than my expectations thats a good thing . The Digital Dial is easily readable in normal lighting conditions . Some reviews says it is difficult to read in sunlight , but i think it was easy clear from me in the sunlight . Pros : 1 . It was easy to setup the time and other details after reding the manual . 2 . The Metal Chain is easily adjustable ( but u will need some tools ) 3 . The watch looks like a expensive Chrongraph . ( SOme of my friends have mistaken it to be around US $150 ) 4 . Good alarm functions . it was easily audible to me in the morning . Cons : 1 . The Light should remain for some more time . 1.5 Sec is very less sometimes not able to read the digital clock . 2 . Its a bit heavy , but chronos are meant to be heavy from normal watches 3 . Digital display is Blocked by Analog hands at certain points . but all over a good watch to purchase . I would recommend this watch if you are looking for a Good looking Chrongraph at this price .
          • 010 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) I brought this watch because I want something that has alarm , timer , and I want something between analog and digital . I have a timer analog watch but it timing was not easy to read down to the second because of the analog hand . So I was looking for something with digital . First I though I was going to have to pay for more than $ 100 dollar for something like this . Then , I saw other 30 and 20 dollar Casio wrist watch with thermometer , I know I have to get one of those two watch . But when I look closely at those watch , I saw that their appearance tell their extract price . Then I saw this one for 50 Dollar and it does look like a hundred dollar watch . For me , everything work perfectly , that included thermometer , I just had to calibrate as it written in the manual . First , all the buttons and setup really confused me but after I read manual and followed the instruction . It worked fine , after I change my UTC time zone to correct one , it even show my home town , which is half way around the world in one of the most remote place , time correctly in WTC time . I have a small hand so I had to take off 5 clips off the bracelet but it was easy and now it fit like it makes for my tiny wrist . Work great for me .

          • 020 4  I have had this watch now for over two months . It's a great , classy looking watch good for both informal and formal use . It has features that I'll never use - - such as a stopwatch memory function that allows you to keep records permanently and still use the stopwatch . Has nice dual time function . You could travel the world with this and always have a digital time available . As other reviewers have said , the temperature is a bit complicated . If you don't calibrate it for the temperature of your wrist it will not be correct . I had a Casio in the ' 80s that had a temperature readout but the setting was arbitrary and it was never right even when adjusted for your wrist . THIS watch allows you to offset it more precisely , and it may not be 100% right but it is very close . I would highly recommend this if you're looking for a solid formal looking functional watch .
          • 021 4  As a guy who likes to run and go out at night , I have found this watch to be a maximally utilitarian time piece . It combines the style of analog watches with the functionality of a digital display to give you the best of both worlds . My favorite feature is the lap timers which are easy to read and with each press of a button give you both a current lap time and the total duration of your run / swim / bull ride . Also the back light is very bright and there is an option to have it automatically turn on every time you raise your arm to your face , which is great for running at night and perhaps raving . The other features that I do not use often thought they work fine are the timer ( adjustable to any length of time you want to count down from ) , the alarm clock , the thermometer ( cool but not practical ) , and the world times . There are some flaws however , the biggest of which for me being the fact that if you choose to run at say 6pm , the hour arrow will be partly blocking your view of your total run time on the digital display . This occasionally makes it difficult to get an exact lap time , but waiting or taking my best guess works well enough for me . I still prefer having the recessed digital display to an ugly separate one like some watches have . Another semi-flaw is the short length of time the backlight turns on for when you press the button . This is meant to save battery life but can be a little annoying . The battery by the way will last only two years if you use the backlight every day and three years if you don't use it much . Oh and the thermometer will really be telling you the temperature of your watch-covered wrist while you wear it , not the outside air temperate , which I did not realize . But if left alone on a table , it will cooperate and comes accurately pre-programmed . All in all , this is a great watch for an athletic individual who is not a professional athlete and is not obsessive about getting exact lap times right away ( your view might be obscured temporarily ) . I wear it all the time and have no need for an additional watch for any other purpose .
          • 022 4  A nice watch and it does what it says . I have seen some posts from others stating that temperature is not correct , hard to adjust settings , pulling hair out . Here is what i found . To have correct temperature it first needs to be calibrated . Temp shows at change of minute only , so got to wait until then . Steel belt appears to be heavy and being new for couple of days , it could pull some hairs but okaaay later once smoothen down . The black dial does not make digital readings very good but needs to use backlight most of the time . The steel belt was hard to adjust initially , but had found a good link on the web and then it was really easy . Overall , it's a good watch , multiple timings , world times , temperature etc . look good and does what it says . Pramod Shrote
          • 024 4  I was looking for a world time watch , and this fit the bill without breaking the bank . Surprisingly I actually use the countdown and stopwatch ( I didn't think I would ) . The reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is that the word intuitive doesn't apply to the way the myriad of functions are set and modified . I would have given this 5 stars if it had a few less features - it's a great looking watch for work or casual wear .
          • 026 4  All I can say is that this is probably the best product I bought online and believe me I buy a lot . Every thing about the watch is simply amazing . The appearance is very professional and elegant . I was looking for a watch with a metal strap , not too flashy and having multiple option like thermometer , stop watch , world time , analog & digital display . There are quite a few watches in this category which do not cost a fortune . This one served my purpose very well . It also has ' japanese movement ' which adds additional quality tag to it . I never take it off except while playing tennis ( doubles ) because I have a wierd fear that I might smash the dial-glass on my partners bat : ) I owned a Casio databank watch before buying this , which I managed to use for 6 years . I eventually realized that the casing was just a plastic with a metal coating ( I'm not blaming the company , I should have read the specs correctly before buying ) . This is the reason I wanted to be absolutely sure that all the parts on my new watch should be metal . I searched and read reviews on lots of watches / brands and this was the one which was meeting all of my ' stringent ' expectations . When I got this one , I was amazed by its sturdiness and looks ( believe me it looks even better in real ) . Unless something bad happens with it ( like getting smashed under a truck or sth ) , I think I will manage to use it till the end of time . It's now been a year since I got this watch , and it still looks brand new . The only cons I can find in it is that the digital numbers are a bit difficult to read against the black dial but its fine for me ; I just use the backlight feature whenever I want to read them . Also , similar to other Casio watches , there is about 1 - 2 min time lead every month but I think it would be very tough to find a perfect chronograph ( unless one finds a hi-def / futuristic watch which costs a fortune and the only additional thing it does is to synchronize automatically with some server ) . As mentioned in other reviews , the temperature shows the correct reading only after wearing it for about 20 min or so , given that the calibration is done right . Overall , I would highly recommend this watch and is worth every single penny .
          • 029 4  this is a very good watch , but there are some things to complain ! the temperature is measuring in your wrist , not the environment . if you want to see the real temperature , you have to dress it off and put in the put u want to find the temp . and wait around 20 min . the alarm is very simple and it rings just 10 sec . the other things i don't have anything to complain , very nice watch !
          • 033 4  Excellent watch , I love it ! ! Digital display is actually very easy to read , no problems there . Also , I bought it because their color ( cherry blossom red ) matches 100% the color of a Subaru STi logo . Their design is also rather unique and to may appeal to car enthusiasts ( take a closer look at them , you'll see what I'm talking about ) .
          • 035 4  Good things Very cool , Digital Display is can't be seen from certain angles making this clock perfect for some dress occations . the Features it has are great has world time and most of it is simple . Was worth to pay for it . The band didn't come with a manual of how to make it smaller but i worked it out later with patience and logic . Cons This Product is very cool , has many features but i didn't like it just ve 1 alarm , many chronos , and just 1 alarm . The analog clock settings was hard ( had to wait alot to set it to 11 hours later . ) . and the analog covers the digital display sometimes you ve to wait 1 hour or 10 minutes to be able to see below the analog some of the features . The alarm is too cheap and should last longer , the light doesn't stay on when you keep the light button pressed . each 1.5 secs you ve to press the light button if you want to see the light again . I also wanted it to be a bit bigger . sorry for english didn't ve time to pass the spell check .
          • 039 4  This Casio Edifice is a perfect watch to wear for casual occasions . I have had it over a month now , and for the cheap price , it appears to be very accurate with the official Government website time ( [ . . . ] ) . . . less than 2 seconds lost in 1 month . I like the dual digital analog time . It also shows the day and date , a must for me . Some reviewers say the digital numbers are hard to read because they are dim . They are both correct and incorrect ! Yes , if you are in dim lighting it may be hard to see the digital numbers , and it does require you to have the viewing watch angle tilted a little in order to see the digital numbers , but this is a plus . Unlike other dual time watches that I have had in the past , the background clutter can tend to make it hard to see the analog hands when glancing at the watch . The background digital numbers on this watch tend to blend away unless you are looking directly at the watch . This helps to reduce the background clutter on the watch face . Tilting the watch a little so that you can see the digital numbers should be a very minor inconvenience . The band is easy to adjust as long as you know that it doesn't use the round pin type link removal . There are websites that you can go to that will show you how to remove links , if you are not familiar with this type of link removal . The band will not allow your watch to lay flat like most metal watch bands , again a minor annoyance . The only curios feature , is that when you set your analog hands , it will only go in one direction . . . clockwise . Somewhat odd ? It has a temperature readout , but I doubt anyone should really expect this to be very accurate . Even if you set it to account for your body temperature , don't expect miracles . As your activity goes up or down , so too , will your body temperature . This should make it nearly impossible for the watch to really report accurate air temperatures . At best it will give you a general approximations . Kind of a useless feature . I have read other reviewers that were upset that it wasn't giving them the correct temperatures . If this is the reason why you bought the watch then you need to see a shrink . It's watch ! Stop focusing on the minutia and enjoy the classy looks and excellent timing of this inexpensive watch .
          • 041 4  This was the right balance for me . Mixture of classic , casual and tech style . Most of the reviews from other people in this site are true , positive and negative ones . It's just about who is sensitive to what . I really find this watch very nice looking and easy to use . I was afraid of huge oversized Casio watches , but this one ended being quite small , so if you tend buying it maybe the good idea would be checking first in the store a real version .
          • 045 4  Affordable watch , it is analog-digital , easy to setup , looks good , backlight ( which is one of the main reasons I needed ) , I like it a lot . I bought this for xmas since I needed an analog-digital watch with illumination , this looked good , price was within range . Works as advertised , my only complain , and this is why I gave it 4 stars , is the light , when you press the button , light will remain on for 1.5 seconds , it doesn't matter if you keep the button pressed , I thought I could change that in any part of the settings but no , nothing to do , and I didn't expect that since most of the Casio watches keep illumination on as long as you keep the button pressed . Some reviewers complained about visibility of the digital clock and date , well , it's good enough for me , and I'm the guy with 14 diopters in his eyeglasses , not visible a 100% , but you get the point , temperature is hard to read though . If backlight would've stayed on for 3 - 4 seconds , I would've rated it 5 stars .
          • 046 4  Love the watch and wish I could wear it . But I am a white guy with average arm hair , and it is PAINFUL . It is constantly catching and ripping out hairs . I had a previous metal banded casio watch ( the Forester ) without this problem . I will go back to that . I attached a piece of clear packing tape to the back of the watch band and cut it with a razor to match the shape . That stopped the hair removal , but it is too temporary and hackish to use long-term on a nice watch like this . If you have no arm hair , go for it ! Looks really nice . As others have said , plan on always using the backlight to read the LCD . Also , the stopwatch is unique , to say the least , and unlike any Casio ( or other brand for that matter ) I've had . I can't say I'm a fan . For instance , you would expect to be able to stop the stopwatch . But you can't . You record a lap time and the stopwatch resumes running momentarily on its own and with no way for you to prevent it from doing so . Then you must switch to another mode and read the recorded lap time to see how long the stopwatch ran for . It's rather tedious . But I guess it would be great if you were in a Nascar race or something . = ) You can read the details about its operation if you lookup the manual online . Search for casio 4334 manual .
          • 048 4  The watch Looks grate and I love it . The only downside is the band pulls at / out your wrist hairs for first 2 - 3 weeks and the digital Clock is not very easy to read . I love the watch with lots of cool thing and Option that you can not get on many watches .
          • 050 4  I bought two units of this watch , one for myself the other as gift for a friend . Until now other than the relative difficulty to configure it , it does the job very well . I am using it a second watch , it has a nice sporty look . Very satisified .
          • 055 4  The watch looks nice and unlike some I got an accurate temp reading . The digital information is too little and the light is too late . The size of the info is small and not clear for old eyes . The lighted version of the display is only on for a very short time making viewing difficult . Some ( with young vision ) should love this watch , however be cautious if you have difficulty reading small displays .
          • 057 4  The face is not only cluttered , but the digital elements ( which are light-against-dark ) are hard to read except in bright light . Perhaps the worst part of this watch is the band . Instead of using easily removed spring-loaded pins ( I forget the correct name ) to adjust the bracelet length , a cheaper system using pull-out bars - - which is very difficult for a consumer to easily adjust - - has been substituted . This sort of band seems increasingly common on watches . It's a good-enough reason not to buy any watch with one .
          • 059 4  This watch is a perfect combination of Digital and Analog mode . The black dial looks elegant . The thermometer is the unique feature which only this watch offers . I like the digital seconds . It has got many many features like dual time , dual alarms , backlight . The Amazon price was too good . Cons : The belt adjustment is not mentioned anywhere . You just have to push the dot outwards and the link comes out . It does pull hair . Amazon package was not sealed so not sure if it is original . The box quality was too cheap . Otherwise this item is 5 star item .
          • 060 4  A little bit heavier tht wht i tough , but very good watch , according to the description . Looks better in real life tht in photos .
          • 064 4  First and foremost - - Digits cannot be seen in low light . I'm not talking about what most people think of as low light . I mean anything less than daylight . I have not been able to read the watch in conditions I could easily read a book . The hands cover the digits ! More trouble than you might think . Hour hand is hard to see because it is red and has a hole in i - - there is not enough contrast with the black face . Area of face is too small - - about 3 / 4 inch across - - There is room for a one and an eighth inch face . Thermometer is very accurate ! But only if you take it off for a half hour to let it reach room temp . What does Edifice mean ( as far as this watch goes ) ?
          • 069 4  good buy for the price , not a G-Shock but a great watch none the less , temp is a lil off by 2 degrees but i can live with that , illumination is bright enough in complete darkness and the auto illumination works great when watch is tilted good value for the price
          • 071 4  This is a handsome watch , but it is very hard to read the LCD displays . The instructions are necessary as there is nothing intuitive about setting the time and accessing all of its functions . The instructions that came with the watch are only readable with a magnifying glass ( for those over the age of 39 ) , as they are written in micro type . The watch band pulls hair out of my wrist , so I don't wear it . Overall I'd say this is a stylish watch , but it is a real dog as far as ergonomics are concerned .
          • 077 4  this watch is great it tells the time in up to 50 difrent cities , it has a built in thermometer ( F & ( C ) , stop watch & alarm .
          • 091 4  My husband and I are impressed by its trendy look and multi-functionality . The only drawback is that it takes us a little while to be familiar with the alternation between different modes / settings .
          • 095 4  I received this watch for my last birthday , and I fell in love with it . It has all the class of a nice looking analog watch , but all the functionality ( and more ) of a typical digital watch . I wear this watch everyday and I absolutely love it . Yes , the thermometer only really works when it isn't on you ( because your body heat affects it ) , but if you need to know the temperature then just take it off and let it acclimate . This watch looks good enough to wear to a shirt and tie event , but at the same time is solid enough to go outdoors with it and rough around with it on . Its not huge like some multifunction watches and everything on it is great . I will buy another if this one ever kicks the bucket , but I doubt that will be for a very , very long time if ever . Casio does it again !
          • 098 4  Looks like a normal analog watch , has all the cool digital features . Nice LCD display , readable in daylight . Nice back light . Can't find this one in stores in USA , but it has features of watches costing far more !
          • 105 4  Very nice looking watch 2 problems The thermometer is highly inaccurate when you wear the watch it shows a temp higher by at least 5 degrees ( from your body temp ) The illumination goes off in less than a second making it hard to read the time before it goes off A nice feature is the automatic light that you can set to come on when you look at the time like when you raise your wrist
          • 106 4  Hard to read the digital info , even with the light on . When the analog hands ( minute / hour ) are in the way , the info is covered and unusuable . Hourly & alarm beep aren't very loud compared to other Casio's I've owned . Didn't buy it for the temperature option but it's accurate . Haven't really played with it enough to use and re-set all the functions as needed , but they're not as easy to access as other watches . Maybe because there's so many features . All-in-all a nice looking , well-built watch with good features at a decent price but I wouldn't buy another if it got lost , stolen or broken .
          • 108 4  Really cool watch . . . Nice digital background . May be Casio should include more details in manual about how to take the extra links outs from the bracelet . I kinda figured that out in about 10 mins . Which could have been saved . no biggie ! ! !
          • 111 4  Pros : Good basic watch . It looks nice and I like the thermometer , auto illumination and stopwatch features . Cons : The analog hands obscure the digital readings at times and the digital second hand is useless . Overall . . . I dont regret buying it
          • 113 4  I would comment on the design of the watch but it is all pretty irrelevant to me . This watch consistently ripped all of the hairs out of my arm for the two painful days I wore it . Don't buy this watch if you value the hairs on your arm and have a low pain threshold . Buy this one instead : Fossil Men's Chronograph Bracelet Watch
          • 120 4  If you're looking for a thermometer watch , I suggest you look elsewhere . Thw watch is heavy and seems well constructed but the thermometer feature lacks . I tried to calibrate this thing as described in the user guide , and while I was wearing it ( as suggested by other reviewers ) but it simply will not give an accurate temperature reading . But for $50.00 , you get what you pay for .
          • 123 4  passing that even with my shipment does not arrive The estimated date of delivery was 08 / 04 for the day and not even the receipt . Please I need an answer

          • 007 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) I like the look of the watch but there are two problems . The digital display is very dim and is hard to see with out the back light . The other problem is the materials are not the best . Not a god watch for a work environment .
          • 012 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) I got this watch as a father day's present . I love it . Looks professional , elegant and got lots of compliment on it . I don't know how scratch resistant it is yet . The ban is tricky to change . All you need is a small screw driver . This is a great buy . I have 3 other watch but this one by far is my favorite .
          • 014 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) I Like this watch . All the functions it has are really great . The only problem I have is to adjust its Band to my wrist , I am unable to figure it out yet . Overall it is a Good Watch both for Formal and Casual looks .
          • 019 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) I have had this watch now for over two months .

The digital analog clock setting is a little slow but nice . • 066 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) I bought this watch based on the reviews . I just recieved it today and realized that this is a truly great looking watch . The down side and the reason why I am sending it back is because of the crappy band . The band feels and sounds cheap . In my opinion a metal watch band shouldn't squeak . This watch would have been a keeper if it weren't for the band .
          • 072 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) This is a very good watch .
          • 083 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) Overall I am very satisfied with the watch . The shipping was excellent ; I received the item in no time and in great condition . The watch is very elegant and looks very compact . However it is very dark and I have a really hard time to see the time or temperature in low light conditions . The thermometer is not accurate at all ; to be honest , it is useless . It has many features that are pretty cool , but obviously one of the main reasons for me to buy the watch was the thermometer . Anyway , it is a nice watch for a decent price .

          • 090 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) My husband and I are impressed by its trendy look and multi-functionality . The only drawback is that it takes us a little while to be familiar with the alternation between different modes / settings .

So when your arm hair brushes against the watch band , it gets pinched in between the links and pulled out . If there was some room between the link edges of the band , this wouldn't be a problem , but I guess this is too hard to figure out for a company that's been making watches since 1974 .
          • 101 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) Thermometer doesn't work on your wrist . It must be off your wrist for 20 - 30 minutes to get a good reading . You can't see the reading if it's about 9 o'clock or any hour : 45 . Other digits are easily obscured by the hands . THE BAND IS A NON-STANDARD TYPE ( NO PINS ) SO NOT EASY TO ADJUST . THE LINKS ARE TOO BIG AND PINCH HAIR . FINE LENGTH ADJUSTMENT IS LIMITED TO TWO HOLES ON THE CLASP , which doesn't cover the range of lengths you might want . Several design elements are totally frivolous . One has LCDs marking the seconds around the perimeter ( good idea ! ) for the last 30 seconds of each minute , but not the first 30 secs ( stoopid ) . Another shows how far along you are in the current 10 minute slice . As if . Like with pretty much all watches these days , you can't count on the alarm to wake you up . Gets maybe an extra star for being good looking .

          • 110 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) Pros : Good basic watch . It looks nice and I like the thermometer , auto illumination and stopwatch features . Cons : The analog hands obscure the digital readings at times and the digital second hand is useless . Overall . . . I dont regret buying it
          • 116 4  This review is from : Casio Men's EFA119BK - 1AV Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch ( Watch ) Me parece un excelente reloj , buena apariencia , muy buena funciones . no le doy las 5 estrellas por dos cosas : 1 . las agujas hacen dificil la lectura digital 2 . el tiempo de iluminacion es muy corto por todo lo demas es excelente
