  • 003 4  I was looking for a watch with both analog and digital outputs . I found this one that fit the bill . It wasn't very expensive so if it bit the dust at work I wouldn't mind too much . The only problem I found was the dial window . It's plastic . Soft plastic . Unfortunaly only a week after buying the watch I already had several scratches on the face that made it more difficult to see the face . If the dial window was more resilient I would be very happy with the watch and give it 4 or 5 stars but as it stands it gets a 2 . . . barely .

  • 036 4  I love it ! I love it for several reasons , but the main reason is that it's very light but still metallic . I hate heavy watches , but this one is light as a feather . And I love metal straps because they are quick to put on . And then I love it because it has both a digital and an analog face and has the great range of usual functions of a digital watch . To me Casio embodies inexpensive and reliable watches . If you lose it , it's not gonna kill you . In fact I have several Casio watches all over the house so I never to look for one when rushing out the door . In fact , they are so reliable that my $20 Casio watch from 15 years ago is still working . The only negative I have about this watch is that it's hard to change the time . In fact it's so counter-intuitive ( press A five times ? ? ? ) that I've had to open the instruction manual in order to change it , and with DST this year coming at a different date , I've had to manually change it , and it's no fun , especially the analog hands which you don't have a knob to wind , but have to advance it digitally . But overall , my verdict is that Casio is reliable and cheap , and there are hundreds of styles to choose from .

    • 004 4  I lost my casio edifice watch and decided to get this watch since it had all of the features that I needed ( time zones , alarm , display date / day , etc . ) . The watch arrived the other day and so I thought that I would contribute my initial thoughts since I found the other reviews here to be useful . This is a very solid and good looking watch . The display is easy to read with large numbers / letters and a bright back light , much better than the casio that I lost ( and half the price ! ) . Setting it up was very easy and it is comfortable . I prefer a metal band to the resin bands on the other version of this watch . The band is solid and easy to adjust ( wikihow has a brief article on adjusting the band called Adjust-a-Casio-S - 935L-Watch-Band ) . The watch is thicker than most of the previous watches that I have had . At first I was concerned about this , but now that I've worn it for a while , I don't really notice . I haven't had it long enough to notice scratches on the watch face . I like the watch and would buy it again .

Material used for construction of the body is cheap painted plastic that gets scratched very easily . Seems to be showing accurate time so far , but then casio electronics are generally reliable . I would go for a more expensive casio model in the future which have better construction .

I do not recommend purchasing this item due to its unreliability when it comes to actually working .

Even buying this watch and shipping it to Norway where I live , with a cost of shipping higher than the watch itself , it was half the price I would have payed here . I looks nice and has a certain quality feel to it and it seems to work very nicely indeed . Only thing is that is a bit thick and it seems to scratch somewhat easily .

This watch has everything you could possibly want - analog + digital , time zones , timer , stop watch , multiple alarms , lights . Feature wise it is perfect . However I do think some of the specifications are wrong . The band is far too light to be steel , and it's not magnetic , so I'm inclined to believe that it is aluminum . Also I'm not sure how true the watch face is a mineral material , as mine got many scratches over the year . If the watch had better build quality , I would get another .

This is the second time i purchase this exact same model and I'll stick to it as long as it is available in the market . The firstone still works ( havent changed battery in 4 years and the alarm is still lound and clear ) . Only reason I had to change it was because the wrist band eventually detached from the watch which seems to be the only weakeness of this item . nonetheless i bought it again . I normally use it just for time , date and alarms ( it has 6 alarms ) but it has several other features which i dont really use ' cuz tipically i dont need to know what time is in whichever know capital . no problems with the shipping / ordering story .

Clumsy and unattractive . Second , I expected the digital display to be a little more versatile . It appears the top ( smaller ) line can be either the day of the week , or the month and day . The second ( bigger ) line can only display the time . Well , that's stupid , as there's no reason to have the time always displayed both digitally and analogically . I'd like to have the top line give the day of the week and the middle line give the month and day . But that's just not an option . Finally , the only change you can make in the size of the bracelet is a one-time change making it 3mm smaller in circumference . Any more adjustment than that and you need jeweler's tools to remove a link . I expected better from Casio .

I was a little dismayed by the lack of automatic synchronization between the digital and analog displays . Overall I liked the watch until the band shattered after a year and a half . This shocked me since I'm very gentle with my watches .

I know this is normal for this type of watchband , but this one was especially difficult . I strongly suggest you take this to a professional to prevent stabbing yourself with a pin ( trust me . . . it hurts ) .     • 093 4  This is a relatively good watch for the price I paid ( ~ $45 ) , but it has a few drawbacks which made me dislike it from the minute I got it ( I wouldn't buy it had I saw it in person - it was an online purchase ) . 1 . It is way too thick . Much more than I expected . You cannot see this in any of the online pictures - all are straight from the front . 2 . It scratches very easily . A few weeks of use and I already had a few big scratches . Three years of use , and the the plastic is also scratched and dull . 3 . Analog feature a bit useless : when you look at the watch the digital is more visible , and the analog part is just in your way . It should have something else displayed using the digital display ( at least as an option ) , or make the minute and hour hands more clear . 4 . Minutes hand moves every 20sec . Synchronizing it with the digital watch is not easy . There are a few pros , though : 1 . Many features . 2 . Three years of use and it works like new ( doesn't look like new , of course ) . 3 . Low price . 4 . Gains only about a second every too days . To conclude , I think you can get a much better Casio if you add only $10 - $20 . Don't take this one .

    • 097 4  I read a lot of mixed reviews on this item . I have had this watch for several weeks and have had no problems with it at all . It keeps time quite well . The down side is that you have to download the PDF file to learn how to use the functions . The PDF does not tell you how to adjust the band . I gave it 4 stars because of the difficulties in finding the documentation and having to figure out on my own how to adjust the watch band .

  • Well after having my Casio Twin Graph for nearly 26 years . . . yeah , that's right I bought it in 1984 ! I like that watch a lot . It still works , but the alarm and function beeps are really soft now . That watch also had a combination analog and digital display with dual time , timer , stopwatch , 5 alarms , etc . and I wanted another watch with the same or similar features . The only thing with the old watch was that it didn't have a light to tell time in the dark . The cool thing about that watch was it was totally LCD . . . no moving parts . But , this watch is great . It's everything the old watch was and more . I really like the EL backlight . The white analog hands over a negative LCD display is really cool . If you do decide to get this model get the metal band as resin bands will break after a while . My Twin Graph's resin band broke in less than a year . The only thing I don't like about this watch is the plastic function buttons and , to a lesser degree , the plastic part between the case and metal band . I think metal buttons would've made this watch a real knockout and I would've paid more for that . Still though it's a great looking watch with a lot of useful functions .

The only part that am disappointed is the watch glass . I wish it could be a scratch resistant as watch glass tend to get more scratches . Overall , this watch is more than worth for its price .

This watch has everything you could possibly want - analog + digital , time zones , timer , stop watch , multiple alarms , lights . Feature wise it is perfect . However I do think some of the specifications are wrong . The band is far too light to be steel , and it's not magnetic , so I'm inclined to believe that it is aluminum . Also I'm not sure how true the watch face is a mineral material , as mine got many scratches over the year . If the watch had better build quality , I would get another .
    • 013 4  Not bad for a $30 - 40 watch . Aside from most common features in this type of watch , the countdown timer is a must have for any watch I buy . I have always like the dual analog-digi this one is good because the hands are small enough and the LCD digits big enough that the digits are never hidden . I often set the digits to GMT with the hands on local time and works great . The crystal is fairly cheap ( obvious for the price paid ) and will scratch over time . The alarm and timer sounds have reasonable volume . The hands are actually set through button menus ( no rotating dial ) and there is no analog second hand which I haven't really missed . My main complaint is the readibility of the digital display in low light . The picture makes the digits appear almost sky blue when they are , in fact a dark bronze color . The best readibility is either bright light , or using the illumination feature which is a little weak although I've seen much worse .
    • 014 4  So this is the first watch I've bought in a long time ( cell phones had pretty much replaced them as time-keepers for me ) but i'm really happy I did , cuz I love this watch , its inexpensive , got great features ( stopwatch , world clock , timer , 5 alarms + snooze , ana & digi ) , water resistant to 100m , and the one thing I love the most is that its got this feature where if you lift your wrist to see the time the back light goes on automatically ! So overall I really like my buy , the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is probably more my fault than the manufacturers , but I managed to scratch the face within a few hours of wearing it . : ( But overall great value for money !

I have large wrists and the watch band is too tight . I contacted Casio and they don't sell links for this watch . Had to purchase a new band to take the links from . Cost half as much as the watch alone .

The only problem I have with it ( along with alot of other reviewers ) is the fact that the watch face is not crystal , it is plastic . This thing will scratch if you look at it the wrong way . I soon will not be able to see the hands on mine . I can't stress this enough , I scratched the face when I was putting my jacket on , and there were no buttons or snaps on my jacket . Anyway , other than the easy scratching , I love the watch . Get what you pay for I guess .

The firstone still works ( havent changed battery in 4 years and the alarm is still lound and clear ) . Only reason I had to change it was because the wrist band eventually detached from the watch which seems to be the only weakeness of this item . nonetheless i bought it again . I normally use it just for time , date and alarms ( it has 6 alarms ) but it has several other features which i dont really use ' cuz tipically i dont need to know what time is in whichever know capital . no problems with the shipping / ordering story .

I thought it was the battery , but the watch repair guy tested my original battery and it was perfectly fine . Did not abuse the watch in any way . Didn't get it wet or anything . I'm disappointed to say the least as my last Casio lasted nearly 26 years . . . Also the plastic part that connects the band to the case is showing a lot of wear . Silver paint is wearing off showing the white plastic underneath . Not really a big deal since is a cheap watch . But , while sitting at the computer the pin on the top side of the watch seems to have broken or something . The watch just fell off my wrist and upon inspecting it the gray plastic part and the silver painted part are intact . The holes for the pin are fine . . . just the pin is missing and I can't find it . Hmmm . I'll say one really good thing about this watch . It kept excellent time . It was off by only a couple seconds each month and that's really good . I love Casio watches , but I think the quality has gone down on these China cased models . I may get one of their more expensive Edifice models that has an all steel case and hopefully won't die in under 2 years . . . .     • 042 4  I have used this watch for about 2 months now at the office and it's incredible . The mettalic look gives the watch a grown-up feel at the office but the features matches that of a digital with its timer and several alarm features including a snooze . So far , i've used this during my 15 min breaks and the stop-watch for lunch to know when to come back for work . The stopwatch only goes up to 60 mins before it restarts the count but i rarely use it for anything more then 60 mins . The analog hand is over the display and there is no way to turn off the digital display for a complete analog look . Setting up the analog hands can be a pain because it's not a turn-type of dial , you have to keep on pressing the buttons which only goes clock-wise . The metalic armband turned out to be a lot lighter then i tought which was good but the clock face is slightly thick but it's not anoying and you hardly feel it on your forewarm . Right out of the box , the armband will be very loose and so you have to find a profesional to custom fit it . Even with that , this watch beats many other watch and is a lot cheaper too . I am very happy with my purchase .

My only complaint is that you can see the day of the week , or the date , but not both . If you are the type of person that like's to have something that not to many people have and look cool than this is the watch for you . I used to teach drivers education and the students would comment on how good it looked Don't worry about if it fits or not , just take it t walmart and they will adjust it for free . Plenty of features , read the description by Amazon .
    • 092 4  I love the design of this watch and bought two of them when they cost $60.00 . The only thing is the plastic section of the band that connects to the watch . Both bands have failed at that same place . The plastic cracks and breaks . I have been able to replace the bands with another metal one . The new bands pin into the other weak spot - - the plastic connecting piece that looks like metal . Eventually that gives way too . Now that the price is less than half of what I paid for them , I'll buy another one because the functions are so great .
