Super Street Fighter IV

  • 005 4  I only played Street Fighter 4 a couple of times before I realized that I just plain didn't like it . And that's pretty bad coming from someone who grew up with the series , playing the first incarnation of Street Fighter 2 when it hit arcades in the early 90s . Something seemed off to me , balance was horrible , and the online modes were lackluster . Plus it seemed like there was a lot missing that they could've put in , but didn't just so they could make the release date . Sure enough , Super Street Fighter 4 was announced just a few months later . So I waited , and once I saw gameplay of the new characters and the changes they made to the original cast , I went an pre-ordered it , knowing I wouldn't be disappointed . Obviously , I wasn't , given the title of this review and the ratings , and anyone who was disappointed with the first SF4 should at least give this a rental / borrow . First things first , the new characters . While I wish they would've added a few more unique characters ( like Oro , so then we could have the 4 true masters in one title finally ! ) , the characters they added all rock for the most part , and getting to see Dudley take on Balrog is something that needs to be seen for yourself in order to experience the gentlemanly bad-assedry . Juri's pretty rad too , and once I played as her in the Training mode just to see her moves , I could see why there are so many people playing as her online . The original cast from SF4 got changed here and there , like some attacks having different priority , being slowed down , or not being invincible during an EX move . Sagat and Ryu were notorious for being god-like in the previous version , and here . . . they're still pretty tough , but not - as - impossible to take down as they were . Trust me when I say that if you play competitively , the tiers list will be quite different from the SF4 tiers . Heck , I think Cody's an automatic upper tier just because his knife attacks do chip damage while being blocked and one of his Ultras can almost always hit you when you're on the ground . Online modes have been revamped as well , and it's so much better from what it used to be . There's little to no lag most of the time when I'm playing people in the same region , though sometimes there'll be a quick freeze for both players , and then it goes back to normal . Endless Battle is similar to the mode in the Dead or Alive 2 remake for Xbox , where a person hosts a game , then others keep playing them until they're defeated . This can be a true test of skill if you think you're all that . I still wish there was a way to do rematches when a match ends in the Ranked Battle , so I wouldn't have to go right back to the Network menu to pick another match type , but it's not that big of a complaint . I did have some problems with trying to join another person's Ranked Match . Sometimes it would say that there was a problem , and ask if I wanted to try again , only to have another problem . If this happens to you , just host your own game . SSF4 is so hot , there's ALWAYS someone to play against . Heck , look at Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix - there's ALWAYS someone to play against on there too , and that thing's been out for a while . There are a few extra features , like titles and icons you can earn through Arcade , Network and Challenge modes , and there's also a completely new set of trophies to earn here . Nope , they didn't just port over the old list from SF4 , everything's new and you'll have to earn them again . Costume packs from SF4 transfer over to SSF4 , and that ' bonus ' that Capcom talked about for people who have their SF4 files still saved . . . is just an extra color . It's a cool filter [ that only works for the original color ] that gives you a comic book look , similar to the style in Valkyria Chronicles . Capcom also gave a couple of characters an extra Rival scene in Arcade mode , but unfortunately , Gen and Akuma didn't get one . The opening and ending animated scenes are still horrible , but eh , how often do fighting games get good endings in Arcade mode ? I would've liked Capcom to have finally made a Story mode like what Guilty Gear and BlazBlue had . They've been sitting back while the fans figure out what's actually going on with the story for way too long . Even the endings here , which are completely different from those in SF4 , don't explain much if they have anything to do with the story , and what they do explain is often left for you to figure out ( like Akuma's ) . The graphics remain the same from SF4 of course , but the new animations for new Ultras can range from incredible to incredibly goofy ( like Akuma's new Tasmanian Devil Ultra ) . There are a lot of new tracks to listen to , and I'm happy to say all of them are just as memorable as the old themes from the first Street Fighter 2 . You gotta love Cody's theme , and especially the new Dudley mix . As with the last game , you can also set the voices to English or Japanese . . . or mix and match and choose who you want to speak either language . ' very good for those people who whine about ' omg da english subs sux0rz ' all the time and think it affects gameplay . All in all , despite the few problems here , I'm glad I waited for this . Oh heck , I was actually hyped for this game , and I - never - get like that for anything . While I love BlazBlue , Street Fighter tends to be the fighting game series that I always play the most , and with SF4 , it looks like it'll be staying that way for a while . Now if Guilty Gear X3 comes out . . .
    • 002 4  I am almost 40 and when I was a kid I remember playing Street Fighter in the arcade and then at home . It has always been a 2D fighter . This latest iteration helps this long in the tooth fighting game revive some of its newness and lost luster . Now you can fight as all of the original fighters plus 10 new ones . I have not played the online multiplayer yet . Gameplay ( + ) This game is a fantastic 2 player game to have at your house when your friends come over . Its so much fun to battle your friends head to head as characters you have played in the past . The mechanics are still the same and you can pull off combos with the right joystick movement / button combo . Graphics ( + ) The last street fighter I played was probably 4 years ago and at that time they were trying to introduce 3D into it . It was never that convincing because one of the beauties of this game is actually the 2D space . By restricting you to only forward and back you can concentrate on the killer moves needed to take out your opponent . What this version does ( and others prior to this might but I never played them ) , is bring in 3D movements and marry that to the 2D space . Now your fighting moves are very lifelike and yet you are bound to the restrictions that make this game work . Scenes ( + ) The scenes are just great . Each one of the characters has their background that fits their look . Each one is animated with great characters or objects . New Characters ( + / - ) I like the new characters . Each has their own style and special moves . I have not unlocked special characters as of yet . The main selectable new characters have cool looks , and genre specific styles that emulate where they come from like Juri is Korean and has a Hapkido / Tae Kwon Do look to her style . The negative I can see is that the new characters are archetypal versions of what we already have . The big muscular slow fighter , the fast quick light fighter and so on . Nothing added is really innovative other than their special moves . Special Moves / Finishing moves ( + ) Some of the finishing moves are absolutely hilarious and great to taunt your friends with . An example is Hakan ; this fat slow guy that resembles a hippo . Some of his finishing moves I have tried out are awesome . He slimes himself up so when he fights hes slippery . He uses that slime to do some cool finishing moves on people . I have not tried every character out , but have seen some of the moves watching friends play this in the arcade . Tactics : ( + ) You could go into this doing the same combo over and over and quickly see that you would have your butt handed to you . This iteration of the Street Fighter series rewards you for tactics in that there is more damage done when you pull off the harder moves and not spam your opponent with them repeatedly . Summary : Overall this is a fantastic fighter to have in your arsenal of games . The price makes it even more appealing . I highly recommend it ! Thanks for reading my review .
    • 015 4  The game it self is fun . For those that have the original street fighter 4 , should you get this upgraded version ? ? Depends how much you like and play SF4 . This new version has new characters , 2 ultra combos , a better online experiance , and 5 new stages . that's it . Seems kinda dumb your paying for something twice with something that could have been fixed with a patch for the online experiance and a add on for the rest . Capcom really seemend to do the minimium to repackage this as SSF4 . The menu scheme is the same , almost everything is the same . They do have bonus stages but you will get bored with them the 2nd time playing those . What's more frustrating is that they took out ( yes , took out in a add on game ) unlockable artwork , time , and survival challenge . Those were pretty nice in the first one , taking it out seems a step back . Also a bit strange , the trailer for this game showed costume changes . THERE ARE NON . that's an add on you have to buy online . yeah , an add on to a game that is an add on . real sleezy move capcom . There isnt a whole lot to do offline . There's an arcade and trial challenge where you have to try to do combos to advace to the next stage . that's it , apart from the versus and training every fighting game has . IF YOU DONT HAVE ONLINE PLAY , DO NOT BUY THIS GAME . this is mostly for those who like to fight online . I paid extra money for this because I play SF4 enough where this would make sense . Its still a great fighting game , prob one of the best . Its just frustrating how capcom tries to sqeeze so much money for it while giving so little back . You will never say wow , they added so much to the original . You will actualy look out to see what's the damm difference .
    • 022 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Just got my copy of SSF4 and it is just like the old one on the super nintendo along with arcade style graphics and some bad to the bone super combos . A good buy for under $40 and a classic beers , buddies , and brawling game . HURRICANE KICK !
    • 024 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) This is one of the funnest games I've ever played . Definitely the funnest I've played in 2010 . Has the best replay value of any game out there . I don't quite agree with the reviews that say this is what Vanilla Street Fighter should have been like , because well , sure that would have been nice if it was , but how would Capcom know what the fans want fixed from the original , before the original was out ? They pretty much saw what players wanted , then fixed allot of what fans said needed fixing . We now have a super balanced game , where ( at least to me ) it seems nearly impossible to tell which characters are better , as now they all require learning how to use , and all have tough matchups . This game , much like the rest of the street fighter series , is NOT designed to be played till you beat the game . This is a tournament style game designed to be played against other people . You will never get good at it if you only play against the CPU . Likewise if none of your friends play the game and you aren't willing to get into the Street Fighter scene to find good players to play against , and only like games with a very well developed storyline , I would suggest you pass this one up . It takes a * TON * of time and effort to get to even a mediocre level of play . Also you have to not mind loosing , because if you're new to fighting games you WILL lose a lot . However if you are a fan of fighting games what are you waiting for ? BUY the damn game and start playing ! If you're looking to get into 2D fighter games and are considering starting out with SFIV , yes , get this over the vanilla SF or any other current 2D fighting game , it will have the most people playing it , and is also the funnest one ( in my opinion ) . Also don't forget to pick up a stick ( if you don't already have one ) , I personally prefer the TE layout over the Hori layout , but that is all opinion . There is no real difference between the madcatz SFIV TE and the SSFIV TE , so unless you want it for looks , get whichever is cheaper .

    • 028 4  If I had to pick one fighting game to buy for this console generation , it would have to be this one . Simply because the nostalgic value that is has . It has all the characters from the older Street Fighter games , and some from the newer games . I love all the remixed character themes , and how they added the bonus stages like the one where you have to destroy the cars . Online matches are a breeze , it's easy to find an opponent with your same skill level . What I don't like is how much stiffer the characters feel in this game , they handle almost like Tekken / Virtua Fighter characters ( I said almost ) . I mean , just play this game and Street Fighter 3 / Alpha 3 and compare them . You will notice that the characters move and handle more fluidly in the latter games . I don't expect them to move like characters from the Marvel vs . Capcom series either ( dang , that would just be too fast and difficult ! ) , but they really should have improved this aspect of the game . This is my biggest gripe with it . Also , the game doesn't seem very deep . It would have been nice if it had something like the World Tour mode from Alpha 3 , where it had you going to different fights on a world map . In that mode , you would gain experience points from each fight and learn new skills that you could equip like air guard plus , or fast super gauge recharge ( don't remember the exact names , but you get the idea ) . The game needs better gameplay modes . I do recommend this game , but it's just good for quick matches , which can be good if you have a really busy life and very little time for video games . But then again , if you don't have enough time for games , you probably won't be very good at this game , as ( so I have heard ) it demands hours and hours of practice to become a decent fighter online .
    • 030 4  I'm an old school fighter from the Street Fighter II days and I , never having tried the prior game SFIV , was in for a real treat . I bought this game , popped it in , and was instantly taken back to those days . The pure fun and addictiveness is worth the $30 I paid for this game MANY , MANY TIMES OVER . ONLINE IS FLAWLESS ! Well almost , about 1 in 30 games has slight lag . Having a DSL connection , I was impressed with the virtually lag-free playing sessions . It was like the other player was in the room with me . That's how darn good the experience is . Way to go Capcom for the awesome netcode ! Best of all it's FREE ( PSN ) ! I sold my 360 , jumped on the PS3 bandwagon and never looked back . Sony is currently kicking butt and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if their awesome machine eventually overtakes the 360 in terms of sales . Simply put , do yourself a favor and BUY THIS GAME . You won't regret it .
    • 033 4  Street fighter 4 was a great game for 2d fighting fans . It had a good roster , and great game play . Easy enough to learn , but hard to master . Super Street Fighter 4 takes it up a notch and adds 10 more characters . Of course many think that SSF4 may be a waste of money if you bought the first one . Well that depends who you are . If you didn't like the first game , chances are you're not going to like this one . If you did like the first one , but got bored of it , you may want to rent first before buying . Sure adding 10 more characters adds more lasting appeal , but there's nothing really pushing you to play by yourself for a long time since all the characters are unlocked in the beginning . So the only reason to play the arcade mode is to unlock the barrel and car mini-game . Also , ( Trust me on this ) you won't be playing much after the first few weeks if you don't have a friend to play or want to play online . The only thing to do by yourself is arcade , the two mini games , and trials . Speaking of trials ( if you do not know what the trial mode is , its a mode where you have do certain moves / combos to progress . It helps you know what type of combos you can pull off with a certain character ) , they still did not add a option to view how you are supposed to do a combo . So if your stuck , your going to have to go on youtube . All in all SSF4 is a solid game if you liked the first one , and even if you didn't , try renting it . Maybe one of the ten new characters will get you into it . Postives : 10 new characters Same solid game play Low price Negatives : Nothing really pushing you to play arcade Lack of How to . . in trial mode
    • 037 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) SSF4 is a huge improvement over SF4 and I liked that game plenty . You've got ten new characters , five new stages , stage / character theme music ( if you want to listen to it ) , and new online modes as well as offline . Everything blends to give you a nice mixture of variety and characters have been tweaked to return greater balance to this sublime fighting series . All I can say is Capcom did a good job and if any flaws are inherent , overlook them because it's not worth missing out on all the fun !

    • 056 4  I have the original SFIV and had my doubts of whether I want to get this or not and finally decided to . Here's what I found and hopefully it helps people like me who own the original decide whether to get this or not . Online Experience : First thing I noticed was a lot of players with good connections . For either green or yellow , play is smooth . There is some lag but from my experience it's 1 out of 20 . I have not tried playing with red connection . New Characters : Almost all of them does not feel like typical SF , moves are not the common SF moves and are definitely fun to try out . It makes the game really feel new . New Ultras : For the ones I tried like Dhalsim and Chun-li , it adds a different twist to how you play opening up other opportunities to combo and damage your opponents . Too bad you are only able to choose one : ) . Again a big factor which makes the game feel new . Challenge mode : This feature is where you can learn combos . The main difference from SFIV is here it allows you to choose which combo challenge to take , every challenge is already unlocked . In the first one you cannot proceed unless you succeed with the latest unlocked challenge . This is definitely a great change , because for some of us who are not really skilled enough to pull off all the combos , we can skip to the ones we can do and master those . I find some more advanced combos easier to pull off than other basic ones because of the timing requirements . Offline Experience : Still about the same as the original , AI has been updated for most of the characters but still the same issues where they violate rules of how to execute moves like not charging etc . The CPU is programmed to execute some kind of counter to your move and has very little offensive capability by themselves . Try using Deejay and slide against Ryu , guaranteed uppercut to the face : ) . For this I took out 1 star because although most of this game's value is online , there are some people who do enjoy playing by themselves and I think capcom can do a better job at this . There are so many good players out there which can be used as a template for the AI . Basically playing AI is like a puzzle , figure out a technique and stick to it and you are done , it does not change much each play through . Balance : There are noticeable tweaks here and there but I don't really think it's for balance . Characters are still categorized by tier . Chances are your favorite character remained in the same tier even after the tweaks . As for the new characters , it's much harder for me to guage the balance because I am still not familiar with their moves . Overall : Very good purchase . Will definitely recommend to people who plan to play online a lot . For those who plan to just play by themselves , recommend to stay away , it's not worth it .
    • 061 4  Before the review starts I would like to say that I love video games , but I play them for fun , not competition : The original Street Fighter IV was a very gun game . The fighting engine was solid , along with the controls , and it was great to see the return of a great series after 7 years since the last numbered entry . The Street Fighter series has long been known for its game engine , and IV did not disappoint . What it was missing however , was the fun and ridiculousness that other games in the series had . There were 25 characters , however most of them were clones of ryu and were not fun to play as . With Super Street Fighter 4 you get 10 original fun characters who add a lot to the game . You get to pick your ultra move when you select your character ( Ultra Moves are what can be used when your Revenge meter builds up ( by getting damaged ) ) . Super Combos reward the player for doing well by allowing a strong moving , that is not quite as powerful as the ultra . By offering the player a choice of Ultra Moves new strategies are implemented , and it feels like you can change the character to fit how you play . For example , in the original street fighter 4 many moves I could not pull off or understand , now I can pick a move that I understand how to do . The 10 new characters all add so much more to the game instead of just being generic clones . You can play as 2 characters from the beat-em-up Final Fight , a Gentleman Boxer named Dudley , a Poisonous Korean Acrobat , a Greasy sunburned body builder , an Australian kick master etc . These characters add much needed variety into street fighter 4 , and many of their moves are simpler to perform than the predecessor . Also included is the use of Bonus Stages like in the original street fighter 2 , the stages are 3D versions of the Car Smashing and Barrel Bashing minigames and while they aren't amazing , like everything else in this game they add variety and fun . Like all your standard fighters there is arcade mode which you play through and fight boss and rival characters , an extensive and great online mode , and local multiplayer . One minor addition which made all the difference to me , was an option you can unlock that plays character themes in vs . mode , as compared to the stage themes ( like classic Street Fighter games ) . This is great and makes for some epic fights , however one downside is that this option only works in vs ( on or offline ) mode . Overall if love fun fighting games , that are not only full of variety , but have a very solid and well made game engine , than this is game is second only to the ridiculous Marvel vs Capcom 2 .
    • 075 4  This game is fun , new feature , new characters , new stages . If you have a chance sell the old SF4 and buy this game it is worth it = )
    • 082 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) This is a much improved version of Street Fighter 4 , better than the original one which was also great . You get 10 new characters ( actually only 2 who are brand new ) new stages , new ultras for every character and even new rivals for some characters and new endings for every character . I particularly like the new African Safari stage with all of the animals in the background and the stage actually has a day / night cycle . The Inland jungle stage as well as Seth's laboratory stage should have had this feature since you have two different versions of those stages . I like the new characters , they are great additions to the cast , especially Juri . If you want to get the most out of this game , you must have either PSN or XBox Live . Most of the new features from this game can only be accessed online . From what I understand , alternate character outfits can only be obtained online through downloadable content . This is the only negative thing that I have to say about the game since I don't have Playstation Network . I was hoping that character outfits could be obtained offline in the game itself . This game is a must have , even if you owned the original SF4 . P.S . If you owned the original Street Fighter 4 , you can trade it in for hopefully at least $9.00 and use that toward your purchase of Super Street Fighter 4 . When I did this , I only had to pay $32.00 for SSF4 .

    • 102 4  If you liked the old Street Fighter 4 , you are going to love Super . It's a great game with hours of fun ! The online mode is great and all the characters are great overall . I completely recommend this game . Super Street Fighter 4 to the top !
    • 103 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) I bought Street Fighter 4 when it first came out and loved every second of it . When Super Street Fighter 4 was announced , I felt a bit mad since I would have rather they released the new add-on as DLC . Despite all of this , I'm a huge Street Fighter fan so I bought it anyway and I have not regretted it . The 10 new characters are worth it alone . The game play and graphics are about the same as the last one with minor tweaks to the power level of some of the characters . I do miss the unlocking feature but this may be just me . With SF4 , it felt like I was working towards a goal and getting rewarded for it but getting a new character or maybe new videos . In SSF4 , everyone is available from the beginning so there isn't much to work towards . You can unlock different costume and taunts but nothing really cool . Again , this is preference so I didn't dock any stars for that . The ranked network match isn't working for me still but the team battle and endless battle is great . My recommendation is if all you really like to play are the basic characters and you don't play online , then don't bother buying this game since the extra 10 characters aren't going to be used and the network enhancement won't mean anything to you . However , if you are a street fighter fan like me , get it . You'll want to try Juri . You'll want to jump online and play others . You'll want to get this game and you won't regret it .

    • 107 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) At first when I found out that Capcom was releasing Super Street Fighter 4 so soon after 4 was released I was a little peeved and did'nt plan on purchaseing the upgrade but boy am I glad I did ! The 10 new character's are all awesome and the replay and team battle features are a great bonus also . The 2nd ultra combo is a great edition as if you play the same person and they beat you , you can change up your ultra to better suit your needs . The graphical overhual is noticable and the game looks great in 720p while the game feels more balanced for newcomers and vets alike . I had been putting off buying an arcade tournament stick because of the price but after now owning SSF4 Im going to take that plunge and be happy doing it . . . I highly recomend if you liked SF4 or if you like fighting games period to get this game you wont be sorry . On an end note those of you who purchased the costume packs for SF4 and are worried they wont be in SSF4 they are and you get 2 cool extra colors for having an SF4 save file .

I played SF4 at a friend's a few times but decided to wait untill this one came out so I could get the additional characters . Both games are essentially the same aside from the characters . I've been a huge SF fan for the last 20 years , and needless to say that this is the best one by far . The characters are awesome , great design , fluid movement , very , very sweet to play . Man I can spend hours and hours on this . It's the first time I got so addicted to a SF game since ' SFII Turbo ' on Snes . I can't wait for my brother in japan to buy it so we can duel online . If you're a SF fan , get this without delay . It's $40 but it's better than most $60 games . peace , I gotta go play now .

    • 126 4  This is suppose to be the definitive edition of Street Fighter IV so it should have EVERYTHING included . First off , where are the personal stages that we begged for ? I read a recent interview in EGM where that was asked and there was no clear answer given . So why weren't they included ? ? Did they just forget ? I also have a HUGE issue with the first set of costumes not being available in this game . I paid almost 80 bucks for the first SFIV and I'm not going to pay a dime extra for costumes unless they come with a game . I figured this pack would have included them , but nooo we still have to purchase these intangible outfits separately . What about the people who don't have access to the internet ? Not everyone can go online and buy these things . This is probably the only 3D fighting game that makes the fans pay for extra costumes . I prefer the Street Fighter franchise over Tekken gameplay wise ; but in terms of everything else , like the costumes and extras , Tekken is killing this game . And come on . . . only 10 new fighters ? Really ? Street Fighter has a long roaster of unique and amazing characters available . There are over 80 characters out there in Street Fighter land ; but this game has what , 35 to choose from ? That is just dumb to me . And don't you dare tell me they couldn't fit on a huge Blu Ray disk . . . Capcom needs to put more effort into these games . I , like many other fans will not stand around and be complacent . Sure this game has it's tweaks and improvements ( Better online mode , cooler opening scene , 2nd Ultra , Bonus stages , etc ) but it's not EVERYTHING we asked for . If they make another version of this game , including the stuff that they missed in this one , I'm not going to be too happy . Iumak gives this a 9 / 10 for the gameplay , but a 4 / 10 for the game as a whole . This still isn't the perfect SFIV game that I wanted and I refuse to except it as such .

    • 133 4  OK , my big gripe is that new costumes aren't unlockable by playing through this time . The fact that I not only have to pay extra for them , after buy street fighter 4 and super street fighter 4 , and now I have to wait for them to come out ( they're already in the original ) and then pay a third tome for them . That is total BS . The game itself is fine . I like how many characters they've added , though none of the new ones are really that good . It is however fun to have a new face to fight .
    • 134 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Ok you have an additional 10 characters , a few extra stages , and a 2nd ultra ; this is what SF4 should of been . They could of just easily made this down-loadable instead of re releasing another version for $40 bucks . This isn't a bad game it's just not satisfying for SF fans and Capcom continues to ignore its fans . Ryu and Ken are still missing moves , still no assign stages , still no parrying , no mild blood like previous SF games , Vega is still very disappointing because he's weak and slow when in the past ( especially in Capcom vs Snk 2 ) he was the fastest and one of the most deadliest characters in the game , still only just 1 super when in the past everyone had at least 3 moves and some any where from 4 - 6 unlike here you only have the option to do 2 moves in a match , no option to unlock to perform both ultras like in SF3 , some of the ultras are absurd and not entertaining at all , as you choose your character it no longer shows where their from , there is no more animated cut scenes instead it's just comic scenes . Most biggest disappointment of all , characters like Hugo , Eagle , Maki , Rolento , and Elena should of least made the cut instead we get a character name Hakan who is terrible and boring . Hugo and Zangief would of been a nice rival and Hugo's ultras would of been nice ; plus him , Maki and Rolento would fit in perfectly since we have Guy and Cody . I don't see why Eagle didn't make it either . Eagle and Dudley would of been perfect rivals since the only time we see him is in SF1 , Capcom vs SNK and SF Alpha 3 max . He would of fit perfectly in this game . My biggest complaint is how in the world did Elena not make the cut yet African stages are present in this game ; fans even wanted her . She is such a unique character , she brings diversity to the SF series and is the only character in the SF universe to have the fighting style capoeira ; it's like the missing art in SF . Imagine her in 3 - D with her elegant moves and her sex appeal ; her ultras would be nice too . I don't understand why she wasn't in this version because she is a popular character especially over characters such as T . Hawk and the new character name Hakan . Great , another Rufus type of character . Putting her in SSF4 would definitely fill that void and boost the game up in terms of variety . Overall , this isn't a bad game but not satisfying for SF fans because this is what SF4 should of been . After I complete this with every character I will sell it back at Gamestop .

  • 042 4  Great game overall . Nice graphics , sound , and various training modes are great . I have the arcade fight stick , but it's still challenging for me to connect all the combos . It's a challenging , fun game .
    • 093 4  This a one of the best games I have ever played smooth , fast , easy to learn hard to master .
    • 111 4  I love this game so much ! ! ! Good online modes ! If u like Street Fighter , this is a must buy game !

  • 064 4  Super SF4 is about as perfect as a Street Fighter game can get . It's everything SF4 was and more . I do wish that this was the version they came out with originally so I wouldn't have had to buy the same game twice , but I do feel this is money well spent . The fighters are balanced a lot better and the additional characters add a lot to the game . I also love the new backgrounds which are a LOT better than the old ones . Some of the voice acting is still terrible though . Particularly Dee Jay . Some of the story lines are beyond horrible . They must have put all of 3 seconds on coming up with these stories . The anime endings are still awful . I don't know why they just didn't use the ingame graphics like they do when you meet your rival which is a lot more enjoyable than the ends are . But people don't play Street Fighter for the stories , do they ? I must say I do love all the online features they added . It truly makes it an arcade experience .
    • 021 4  Getting so much fun with this game , the graphics so good , music , sounds , voices , effects , animation complements the excellent balance of the characters , even when you think something is wrong at first then you find the way to get out of trouble just keep fighting and thinking , also remember enjoying it . Go ahead , ad me and let the fight begin , my psn username is omnymisa I'm at night .
    • 048 4  My favorite fighting game on the new generation consoles . If you've played the super nintendo game , then get ready to step your game with the all new ultra combos and the online feature .

Nice graphic , smooth game play , fluidity for tactical maneuvers if you're into mind-game fun . This is basically everything you want in a fighting games . My only complaint is that we need more characters and more stages . Find a good player , either offline or online and have fun with it . However , if you suck then this game is not for you because it can be frustrating getting your ass's kicked . Or if you have anger problem and suck at the same time then this game is definitely not for you . Unless of course , that's what you enjoy . • 081 4  This game is so awesome . I already had street fighter 4 so I was hesitant about buying this one . I am so glad I bought this one . first of all , the game really has been balanced . I don't know if you noticed on the last game , but some of the fighters were too powerful or cheesy . Now I can actually beat Seth . Also , all the characters are unlocked from the beginning . I can't tell you how frustrated the last game made me while trying to unlock new characters but never being able to . They have improved the online play . The new characters are fun . Praise capcom for starting this game at [ . . . ] instead of [ . . . ] .
    • 018 4  I played the original SFIV , but felt that it was lacking characters . However Super SFIV is a step up , but nothing ground breaking . Online play is ok ; some challenging opponents others just do nothing but the same move . I do recommend this game , but I would wait until it hits [ . . . ] - games like this go down in value fast . . .
    • 036 4  I was skeptical like a lot of people whether this game would justify the [ . . . ] price when I already owned SFIV . After playing the game and seeing all of the new features and reworked design I have come to the conclusion that Super is well worth the price . Aside from all of the new characters to play as , there are a few more maps , better online play , video recording of your matches online and new super and ultra moves for the entire lineup of characters .

  • 121 4  Thanks to my pre order from Gamestop ( shout out to them ) I got this game on Sunday as a special early release to those who pre-ordered the game . That was a pleasant surprise , after playing the game for three days I can firmly say this is a legit up grade to SFIV . They manage to make this feel like a different game . Which is amazing speaking to the fact that it is just SFIV with extra stuff . They changed the interface , ditched indestructable ( in a sick weird way I miss it a lil ) and just made the presentation more visualy appealing . As you already know there are ten new characters . Juri is alot of fun to use , here moves a fluid . She is quick agile and just a bad a $ $ . The thing that suprised me about her , is she has a very sexual quality to her . She just comes across evil and lustfull . Which I kinda like . Ibuki has some many moves it is rediculous , it is a shame that 3rd strike didn't do well because there is no reason on Earth this character should have not been in SF game prior to this . Again agile quick , and has a plethora of cool moves . Her ninja star ultra , I don't know the name of it is very entertaining to watch . Makoto comes across a very straight forward character with a number of quick rush atacks . She is not as flashy as the prior characters I've mentioned , but I'm sure over time I'll get the full uses of her range of atacks . That for now is it for the new characters I'v used . Juri and Ibuki have taken up so much of my time I haven't gotten to DeeJay , Cody and Guy , which I plan to . But , the stars of this game for me are Juri and Ibuki . I tend to lean toward female characters . So adding them to Chun li and Sakura , I should have well rounded group of fighters I'm good with . So should you buy this game , yes if you had SFIV then you just need to get and not think about it . If your new to fighting game this is a good place to start . Then if you get the fighting bug , pick up Alpha Anthology and SF Anniversary collection for SFIII 3rd strike , that game is worth the price of admision alone . Very fun highly recomended .
    • 057 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Super Street Fighter 4 is hands down the best in the franchise's history . They actually made it feel like a whole new game , instead of just Street Fighter 4 with extra's . For just fourty bucks , you get 10 additional characters , with 2 brand new ones , and 8 more from SF's past games , Street Fighter Alpha , and Street Fighter 3 . Thats excellent , since some of my favorates are in here , like Adon , Guy , and Makoto . I've also grown to like Juri , the new and powerful sadistic female character . Anyways , the gameplay and graphics haven't changed much from the first one , but you can now choose alternative costumes for all the characters , and you now have a choice out of two super art moves for all the characters , like Street Fighter 3 Third Strike . Also new are those bonus games like smashing a car or some barrells from SF II . Also , the online mode has been completley redone . This time around there is a whole lot to choose from like team battle , endless battle , and of course ranked or unranked matches . All of these are very fun to play by the way . Overall , Super Street Fighter 4 is game every fight fan should own , and for fourty bucks ? ! why wouldn't you wanna buy this awsome game for such a low price ? ! 5 / 5 .
    • 122 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) I was hoping this version would have blown away Street Fighter IV . However , it just tags on a bunch of stuff from Super and Part III . They throw in a bunch of additional characters to fight with . Eh . The graphics are better and the characters seem larger . But there is no content that goes with it . All the cut screens are pictures , and they reduced options . 1 . They removed the option for English or Japanese voice . 2 . Like Street Fighter III you can only pick 1 super combo . If it's supposed to be super , why do you limit the abilities of players . 3 . Coin Op online ? Where is it . Even the oldest of current Console games DOA 4 has that . Seems Capcom only threw it out there for $ $ $ . Super , not really . Did I buy it , yes . I have played every single one of them . I own ever version for the console . . My disappointment is they had nothing to add to this version except a few characters . The Creativity and detail found in Street Fighter IV was missed here .

  • Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) After playing Street Fighter IV , I had some issues . Sure , it was a fun game , but something seemed to be missing . I don't mean characters , but something else . Something less tangible . To this day I am not really sure what was missing from the SFIV , but whatever it was found it's way on to SSFIV . First off , I want to say that for the price this game is being offered for , it is very reasonable . I was like a lot of gamers out there when I heard that Super Street Fighter IV was coming out . My exact thoughts were Wow , way to shaft us , Capcom ! In fact , I may have even said it out loud . . . . . . in the store . . . . . . in front of children . . . . . . . but I digress . This game is head and shoulders above the SFIV fans grew to love and , in fact , one of the best features is the fact that it seems easier to pull off the Ultra combos without the arcade stick . While arcade stick owners still seem to have an edge , the advantage is a lot more balanced this time around . Simply put , it has the arcade feel without NEEDING the arcade . However , if you are truly serious about this game and haven't splurged yet , pick up an arcade controller . I am not quite THAT gung ho about Street Fighter , but luckily I have a friend who is and I can say with some certainty , the Sony PS3 Street Fighter IV FightStick does help with the more difficult maneuvers . PS3 Street Fighter IV Round 2 FightPad - Cammy controllers are a cheaper way to go , but I can't attest to how helpful they are . Secondly , the new characters are AMAZING . Juri has got to be , hands down , one of the best additions to the franchise period . I like how the various characters are balanced out and how everyone has two Ultras . It would have been nicer had everyone been given the choice to switch between the two on the fly , but I find that to be a nitpick if anything . Seth is still a pain in the @ $ $ , but hey . . . . . he's the boss . He wouldn't be much of a villain if he didn't resort to cheap moves and impossible counters . The new stages are pretty to see , but stages in games like this I tend to care less about . There is no real interaction with it so it is little more than some new wallpaper . The reintroduction of bonus stages is nostalgic gold . KUDOS ! Third , this is a NOT A FIGHTING GAME . This is practically a lifestyle . With the TREMENDOUS amount of characters to choose . . . . many of which are unique . . . . each requires a learning curve that can only be compared to the arts . Sure , novices can pick up and play , but to truly dominate in every facet ; prepare to put some schoolwork in . This alone makes this game exceed where so many other fighting games fall flat . . . . . longevity . If you haven't played Street Fighter in a few years . . . . . . . or even if you have been playing Street Fighter IV for the last several months . . . . . you will find yourself learning the skills all over again . This very thing can be seen as a negative , though . Some of us don't want so steep a learning curve . If that is the case , you are better off passing this up . This game requires practice . Lastly , and probably the biggest plus of all : Everyone is unlocked at the start . My biggest gripe with Street Fighter IV was having to toil through to try out the new characters . In this game , they are all available to tinker with from the get-go . I really enjoy this aspect since , well . . . . . I tend to be impatient . If you are a fan of fighting games , this one should be a no-brainer . If you are only a pseudo-fan of fighting games ( like I am ) , you will probably want to rent it , but do so with an open mind . You won't be awesome after a few fights . This game takes patience to master and yields some of the most satisfying results once you do . All in all , I still feel like this could have been handled as a cheaper add-on with some patches to SFIV , but when you compare the cost of admission with the massive improvements , even the most cynical of gamers out there should have a softened heart to Capcom . So long as they continue to produce quality like this , they'll keep on getting my money .

    • 009 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) After playing Street Fighter IV , I had some issues . • 014 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) The game it self is fun .
    • 029 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) I'm an old school fighter from the Street Fighter II days and I , never having tried the prior game SFIV , was in for a real treat .
    • 032 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Street fighter 4 was a great game for 2d fighting fans .

  • Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Good game , better than the first , however I found myself getting bored with it quickly as folks online discovered tiers and cheap moves . Overall , a good buy especially for the resurrected 2D fighter market .
    • 050 4  I'm a big fan to the Street fighter series and I love this new game so much . Even did the release date shipping and it did come on the correct date . I spend about 6 + hours playing ssf4 each day . : )

  • Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) I just wanted to address some of the main complaints I see with regards to this game . Apparently , some folks out there who purchased the original Street Fighter 4 have a problem with paying for the same game twice . Some folks think that they wasted their money on the original SF4 , because Super SF4 is better . Others think that this is nothing more than Capcom's attempt to milk a franchise and rip off its customers . I can understand the cynicism n this day and age , but it's unwarranted here , - You aren't paying for the same game twice , because of the ridiculous amount of additional content they've added . 10 brand new characters is major . Most franchises don't even add 10 new characters in a SEQUEL , let alone an update . PLUS gameplay revisions and all new ultras for the existing cast that can completely change the way the old characters are played . PLUS a more social online atmosphere thanks to lobbies , team battle , and the upcoming free DLC tournament mode . There's a lot of stuff here that wasn't here before . . . - You didn't waste your money on the original SF4 because IT WAS A GREAT GAME , AND YOU ENJOYED IT . The original SF4 was a fantastic , genre-reviving game with infinite replay value and appeal . The past 14 months of intense beat downs , tournaments , hype , and discovery were well worth the $60 we paid for it . Purchasing Super SF4 won't change that . Especially since the knowledge you earned over the past year will serve you very well in this new game . - This isn't Capcom's attempt to milk a franchise and rip off its customers , because so much of the ingredients to this feast were based on fan requests . Online lobbies ? Fans demanded it . Better balance ? Fans demanded it . Street Fighter 3 characters ? Fans demanded it . Listening to classic character themes during regular battles ? Fans demanded it . The list goes on . Capcom simply saw the demand , and provided the supply . Sure , it would have been great if this massive cornucopia of fighting were available in the original SF4 , but unfortunately Capcom doesn't have a magic wand that creates fighting games out of thin air . Limited time and resources forced them to split the costs and risks over two separate releases ( remember , the original SF4 was a huge gamble that Capcom wasn't sure would be a success . ) In the end , it's all just business . In February 2009 , Capcom released a game called Street Fighter 4 . I paid 60 bucks , and in return got way more than 60 bucks worth of value for it . Both sides profited . Fast forward to April 2010 as Capcom now approaches me with the similar proposition . Pay them 60 bucks in exchange for more than 60 bucks worth of enjoyment . I see no reason why I shouldn't pull the trigger again . Oh wait . . . you mean to tell me , it's not 60 bucks ? It's even CHEAPER ? Well , maybe we need to reconsider who exactly is ripping off whom here . . .

    • 086 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) SUPER STREET FIGHTER 4 . When I heard of this I knew it was a must-have game just like Street Fighter 4 . Street Figher 4 really set the standard and the bar very high for fighting games when I played it I just thought who can do any better than this : Ryu , Ken , Fei Long and Sagat in 3D Blu Ray . That's what I thought when I played SF4 until I played Super Street Fighter 4 it took the same people to top the standards of SF4 I love all of the new features such as Team Battles 2 vs . 2 , 3 vs . 3 , or 4 vs . 4 elimanation style fights played 8 players online , for the true showoff like myself Endless Battle 8 players again take part in an elimination style fight again and fight until they lose and should to able to spectate other people fights to see how well someone does who may have beaten you and there's replay channel where you could watche recorded matches and get great tips and tricks from other online gamers matches . They also brought back the bonus stages destroy the car , break the barrels you remember from the old SF days . New Ultra Combos you now have 2 you select which one before each fight and the are really impressive new cinematics for some like Zangief and you should definitely love Fei Long's even if you're not a fan of his I won't spoil it for you don't worry . Last but certainly not least the new comers such as Juri a Taekwondo fighter and Hakan a wrestler SF took a risk by adding him but I love them doing it , he should've already been here and let's not forget about Guy & Cody from Final Fight , T Hawk , DeeJay , Dudley , Ibuki , Makoto and my personal favorite Adon . And just think you paid $60 for SF4 and you pay $40 for SSF4 the upgrade is cheaper than the original . Street Fighter really put all other fighting games for PS3 to shame it's better than all of them Tekken6 King of Fighters12 MK vs DC all of them . . . • Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) I only played Street Fighter 4 a couple of times before I realized that I just plain didn't like it . Now if Guilty Gear X3 comes out . . .
    • 004 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) I only played Street Fighter 4 a couple of times before I realized that I just plain didn't like it . • 011 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) 10 new characters is not accurate marketing for this game . Try 35 new characters ! The tweaks and improvement to the existing characters as well as adding Ultra Moves really changes the balance . The new stages are simply beautiful . The online while still laggy at times from my experience ( I am on Comcast internet though ) is by far the best online multiplayer for any fighting game yet . I do have issues finding ranked matches like in the last version of SF4 . However entering Arcade mode with fight request on will get you in a match fast enough . Endless Battle and Team Battle are welcome fun additions to the Online component . Even the menus look better . The music is better as well . Gone is the indestructible boy band j-pop Theme. For those of you who aren't fond of the SF4 battle themes have the option of using the character stage themes from previous games . All in all my only complaint would have to go the Arcade mode . Capcom was grilled for the prolouge and ending sequences being so lazily animated in SF4 ' s first console outing . Now these movies aren't even animated at all they are still shots with character monolouges . I will say that the rival battle sequences are much cooler so + 1 for that . All in all dont believe anyone who tells you this is not an expansion . This is an entirely new experience worthy of a disc release and at Forty dollars there is no reason not to own this game .

    • 054 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) I have the original SFIV and had my doubts of whether I want to get this or not and finally decided to .

    • 059 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Before the review starts I would like to say that I love video games , but I play them for fun , not competition : The original Street Fighter IV was a very gun game .

The game makes me not able to wait for the new Marvel vs Capcom 3 !

    • 125 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) This is suppose to be the definitive edition of Street Fighter IV so it should have EVERYTHING included .

  • Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) If I had to pick one fighting game to buy for this console generation , it would have to be this one .

    • 065 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Last year's Street Fighter IV was a re-invigorating entry into Capcom's cash cow franchise , and now here we are with Super Street Fighter IV . Featuring every fighter from last year's version of the game , including the unlockable characters , and 10 extra fighters as well including vets from Super Street Fighter II , Street Fighter III , and the Street Fighter Alpha games , plus some brand spanking new ones as well . Other than the boatload of fighters to choose from , there are a horde of extra gameplay modes and cinematics as well . Multiplayer modes are spectacular , there's some fun video replay options , and like Street Figher IV before , the character models and fighting environments are simply gorgeous . Even if you picked up Street Fighter IV last year , Super Street Fighter IV is a more than worthwhile endeavor , and its bounty of extra content is worth the price of admission alone .

  • Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) It's been a long time since I really spent time with the SF series so this was sort of my homecoming . Super Street Fighter IV is an incredible looking fighting game with some great move sets and a variety of fun and unique characters . The 3D character models in a 2D environment preserve the essence of the series while updating the look in a very flattering way . Just about every special move in the game is satisfying , and nothing feels as good as coming back from the grips of defeat with a well executed ultra or super move . Despite all these great things the game has going for it , the aggravating imbalances and questionable fighting engine prevent this game from reaching its full potential . The first major problem is that despite the longevity of the series , Capcom still hasn't given the characters on their fantastic roster enough tools to combat every type of character , putting you in extremely unbalanced matches . Balance has improved since SFIV , but there are still plenty of glaringly bad match ups that will make you want to go hulk on your controller . Nothing is quite as aggravating as outplaying somebody and still losing . I'm not a phenomenal fighting game player , but I know how to learn match ups and adjust my playstyle accordingly . Even though I'm not a top tier competitive fighter , I still think a game should be fairly balanced at all levels of competition and sadly this series is way below par . On top of that , you can end up investing a lot of time into a character only to find out your character is low tier and will hit an impassible roadblock . The major focus in this game seems to be execution , framerate , and exploiting your opposing fighters weaknesses ; not terribly exciting gameplay . Execution of supers and ultras can be a real chore with some character , especially charge characters and characters who have to be really close to an oppenent to connect . Using forward motions for these moves also open you up for precious frames , making some characters very risky to play . Framerate isn't a huge issue , the big glaring problem for me is grabs . Grabs have received some nerfs and don't deal as much damage as they have in previous SF titles , but they are nearly impossible to counter . I don't have the frame data , but I spent a significant amount of time in training mode to figure out how fast I have to react to a grab to counter it and guess what ? You can't react . . . You can only predict when someone is going to try to grab you and hope your timing is perfect . I have no problems with grabs being in a fighting game , and they are definitely necessary in a title that favors defensive playstyles , but I just can't wrap my head around why making a counter something you have to anticipate instead of react to . Grappling ultas and supers are also seem to be much easier to connect with . As far as exploiting character weaknesses goes , I don't know how many matches I've lost to a Ryu or Ken who immediately start a match by putting max distance between my fighter and spamming hadukens , waiting for me to get in close enough , and then countering every possible move I have with an uppercut . Apparently every move that every character I play , can be countered by an uppercut , which is just the tip of the iceberg as far as exploiting goes . If you want to see what to expect from top tier SSFIV , check out the SFIV championship videos : Haduken fest . . . Aside from feeling that losing to players who use this strategy is extremely cheap and unfair , it just isn't fun . Even when I win matches against these players it isn't satisfying . I've even gotten to the point of being so furious by grappling players that I stopped was I was doing and and only defeated those players by using grabs , just to give them a taste of what it was like . Street Fighter has a ton of potential . If you are looking for some great nastalgia trip , or a casual party game for you and your buddies , SSFIV delivers in every way . If you are looking for a fighting game that is balanced at all levels and allows you to be competitive with just about any character , look elsewhere . I will continue to play SSFIV , but I will definitely be gravitating to Tekken and Blazblue
    • 006 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) It's been a long time since I really spent time with the SF series so this was sort of my homecoming . • 023 4  Just got my copy of SSF4 and it is just like the old one on the super nintendo along with arcade style graphics and some bad to the bone super combos . A good buy for under $40 and a classic beers , buddies , and brawling game . HURRICANE KICK !
    • 039 4  SSF4 is a huge improvement over SF4 and I liked that game plenty .
    • 108 4  At first when I found out that Capcom was releasing Super Street Fighter 4 so soon after 4 was released I was a little peeved and did'nt plan on purchaseing the upgrade but boy am I glad I did !
    • 129 4  SSF IV on PS3 is a great fighting game . . . SF IV was lackluster but this one is beast . You got to get it , dawg . . . You'll feel really good inside .

  • Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Not a bad game . Great if you didn't already have the orignal SF4 . But it would be better as a add-on for those who do ( like me ) . But after playing , I understand why it isn't . Either way you cant go wrong for what you get at $40 ( or less ) . I do wish , however , that you could play with your friends who have SF4 still . But again , no big deal , I don't play it much anyway : - p

    • 130 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) One reviewer was right . Nothing new here just more of the same . Capcom could have easily made it downloadable . But i guess its hard to sell add-on's for $40 . Just another example of these game and movie companies milking the ' ol cash cow . The trend is actually pretty disgusting . Personally i'll wait till this hits the $20 bin .

  • Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Thanks to my pre order from Gamestop ( shout out to them ) I got this game on Sunday as a special early release to those who pre-ordered the game .

    • 031 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Street fighter 4 was a great game for 2d fighting fans .

After playing the game and seeing all of the new features and reworked design I have come to the conclusion that Super is well worth the price . Aside from all of the new characters to play as , there are a few more maps , better online play , video recording of your matches online and new super and ultra moves for the entire lineup of characters .

• 132 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) OK , my big gripe is that new costumes aren't unlockable by playing through this time .

  • Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) This is basically an expasion over last year game street fighter iv . However the extra added is worth the $40 even if those who had own the game before , but if you can wait few months price should drop down quite a bit . The added 10 extra character would nice additon . The entire opening movie is been chance as well but not the ending . However they took out time trial and survival , instead add car smash and barrel , those are nice fun add on but is too easy to get perfect . . . I dislike the openign movie style , the original one is far better , and the menu is ungly . but the character selction and loan screen is much more like sfii classic . The best about it , all character is unlock from the beginning , which is great news for those who bring this game to friend house and play , but the custom color is still require to unlock but is much easier . The graphic is about the same but those who own the orginal sfiv will get 2 extra intersting color for each character . many clasic character is been weaker and make a bit more balance , you can't no longer depend sagat spam fireball to win the game .
    • 062 4  Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this ? ) This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) Super SF4 is about as perfect as a Street Fighter game can get .

• 084 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) This game is much like SF4 in terms of gameplay . . . but overall it is worth it to fork over 40 bucks . With 10 New Characters and a couple favorites returning . . . there is bound to be hours upon hours of entertainment . With all new online modes . . . a new revamped Arcade mode which brings back the old school beat up the car w / e thats called and the barrel breaking mini game . Although it would have been great for capcom to have tournament mode right out the box , its still nice that there releasing a title update in may for it with no cost . I have to point out one thing though . . . the learning curve is pretty steep but they have a hefty game mode which allows you to get to know all the characters and you can choose which character fits you . This is a game where you cant be good at in one day . . . it takes time and perseverance and once you get past the perseverance and you put time in it . . . it will reward you . Pick it up now if your a street fighter fan ! ! ! Now ! ! ! Add it to your cart and checkout ! !
    • 089 4  This review is from : Super Street Fighter IV ( Video Game ) This is basically an expasion over last year game street fighter iv .
