001 4 I love weapons and because of that i have bought many a katana . I also happen to love anime so this was a great oppurtunity to combine those interests . Most katans i buy basically just look good and begin to wobble after about a week of just display use , the wraps around the handle have a tendancy to become on wraped and the hilt begins to just basically fall apart after a while but this weapon is extremely well crafter for being a production sword . I cant say it looks alot like kenshins but the fact that it is a sakabatu is amazing and the blade its self impresses me just as much handle . The scabbard is just as supurb as the sword and makes for an over all nice package well worth the money . For a sword being bought over the internet for this price it is a great find and worth the money . If you like ruroni kenshin i suggest buying this and if you just like katanas in general and would like a nice cheap well crafted one for display or for just the hell of swingin it around this is a great one to get = )
003 4 This sword is truly like the sakabato that Himura Kenshin carries around in the anime Rurouni Kenshin . After getting this sword , I had to keep it on display in my room and show it when my friends come over . The blade is on the wrong side , reversed and is for those that either love the Kenshin anime , or just want to so people's expressions when they see how it is .

The sword is very nicely done . There are no major visible scratches , there can be some markings on the blade but can be easily cleaned off . The sword itself is well balanced and is very sturdy , it doesnt shake in its handle and the handle is nicely made to have a firm grip . This is my first sword and for the price it is a very nice buy .

006 4 This is one awesome sword ! The craftsmanship is suberb . Even the scabbard has quality . I would totally buy from them again ! I'm very impressed with it and enjoy swinging it around !
007 4 To the battojutsu master , the sword by China is a better buy . I purchases both and the one by China is better . Don't expect to swing it around a lot though . It is not a full tang sword so the blade doesnt go through the hilt . It is a nice sword and as a fan of the manga and anime I had been looking for a sakabato for a while . It is a wonderful replica and even though I prefer Aoshi's kodachi's are better . To anyone who is a fan of the show or just a sword enthusiast , this is a great buy for the price .
008 4 It looks great but the sheath doesn't fit well with the sword , so it's hard to pull it out . The free stand is a little unstable but can't complain with it because it's free . If you're not a Kenshin fan , it might not be the best sword for you .

011 4 This is a great looking sword that is very stable . The metal is good but easy to damage so don't hit is off the blade of another sword . Also be careful not to hit it on something really hard because it's not full tang and it can break easier than other swords .
Overall the sword is a great buy , it looks awesome and it's not too heavy to swing ! Though I recommend for beginners to get a smaller or lighter one first .
012 4 I grew very fond of the Rurouni Kenshin series of anime , and when i saw the sword i just couldnt resist.The background to this sword is not to hurt people but to save and protect lives.Its blade is on the oposite side . Unlike other samauri swords.This is the best product to own if you love anime .
013 4 I happned to recieve this as a gift and i was suprised . from what they said it came days earlier than expected it's very well made it had a really nice shine to it after i wiped off that white stuff of the blade and i really liked that . The stand was pretty nice seemed a little smaller than expected but the sword still sits on there nicely . 014 4 This Katana is good at what it does . The reversed nature of the blade makes it safe to work with , and the reversed blade is not razor-sharp , all though it could be sharpened . I do not know if this blade has a full tang or not , but I will not be putting it through extreme duress . It does not have a point , but is rounded off , making this blade as safe as one could be and still could be considered a blade . The guard is a bit too wide to be comfortable , but that is just my personal geometry This blade itself seems of good quality . The blade was shipped promptly and arrived in great condition . The stand , as mentioned in other reviews , is of poor quality , but it is essentially a freebie that comes with the sword . In general a beutifal blade that would do wonderfully as a display or cosplay piece .
015 4 This katana is very well made ! Mine arrived and it was bigger and longer than I expected it to be.It is one of the coolest katanas I've ever seen . . and for such a great price ! The sharp part of this blade wasn't that sharp at all , to my disappointment , but none of the other katanas I've held have ever really had sharp blades either , so I didn't mind that too much.This sword is a bit heavier and larger than most katanas and is cool to have to put on a table or on the wall for others to admire as well.Every now and then , I do pick it up and swing it around a bit , but it is mostly an awesome collector's item.The stand it comes with is very flimsy though , so be careful not to try to prop this thing up on the stand and put it on a glass tabletop or anything , because it will probably fall off the stand and crack the glass .

It is an absolutely beautiful sword and is definitely worth the money , especially if you are like me , a big fan of the Rurouni Kenshin series . The only downsides were the free stand didn't seem to sturdy , but it's free so I'm not complaining ; and when I first took the sword out the saya I noticed it had fingerprints on the blade , but those can be easily taken off with a dry , non-static cloth . Very good for both show and for swinging around . The blade was not very sharp so I would suggest not cutting with it . Otherwise an amazing sword , worth every penney
017 4 The sword it's self was in good condition minus the glue on the handle charm showing . The only part I didn't like was that the Tsuba kept coming loose . This is a shelf and cosplay item . As such it makes for excellent decoration ! If you enjoy the anime Rurouni Kenshin or its forefather show Samurai X then this is the sword for you ! Get it , you know you want it , what are you waiting for ! lol seriousely though , it's a good sword and even with rough handle it can last a good long time .

Loved the feeling of holding this blade in my hands . The hilt seemed much longer than most swords I have , but that's great since I find it hard to grasp some swords with two hands . Just felt a touch excited when I examined the blade and touched the backside to feel the sharpened side . Heh , my wife loved seeing it too . Not overly excited about the stand since the sword kind of sits oddly in it , but it's not enough to dash the happiness of having this sword .

Its real nice . I don't get the correlation with the Last Samurai other than its a Katana . The Metal hand guard is really cool . the only problem is the clip on the sheath is not attach properly .

Really great sword I enjoy it very much.now for the bad news.I piad for one day shipping but when it was the day for it to come it wasnt even out of the store yet.so it was 2 days late.Now other then it being hard to get the sword out the holder it is really nice and sharp.passed the paper test .

029 4 This is a really awesome sword . I would recommend any weapon collector to add this sword to their collection ! The reverse blade makes the sword very unique . Not only that , it reminds us of our Rurouni Kenshin hero , Kenshin Himura .
When ever my friends come over , I would always show them this sword and impress them on how cool and unique the blade is .
I would also recommend those who have the money to buy the carbon steel version of this knife for their collection .

I expected something light and flimsy , something that would not feel like a sword in my hand . 037 4 The sword arrived in mint condition , really solid with the edge reversed . Its made outta 440 stainless steel . its handle is slightly longer and the blade slightly shorter den most standard 40 katana as the blade is only 39 .
Overall a good buy for its price and worth as a collector's item . . .

The stand also doesn't seem to want to stay up on it's own , so it might be a good idea to get a stand separately . But as for appearance , it LOOKS AWESOME . Definitely worth having to show off .

You can swing this around , I've done it several times and nothing appears to be wrong . Honestly , I had expected a better stand , but since it's free who cares ? The blade is aproximately 27 inches long , and the whole sword is 39 inches , 40 with the shieth on .
